THE TENTH GERMANY: DO NOT KEEP PRECIOUS MONEY. Not storing money, gold, jewels, is a GOD. The monastic as well as the lay person need to learn to understand and live in accordance with this virtuous precept to no longer be enslaved to money. Why is there a precept in Buddhism not to keep money that other religions do not have? Buddhism is a religion of seclusion, that's why there are precepts that don't keep money and treasures, while other religions don't have seclusion from sex. Not storing money and treasures is a precept of the holy life of monastics. Those who still keep money are people who still have greed, even though they are ordained as Venerable Monks, Venerable Monks, Venerable Monks, Nuns and even though they are respected and respected by everyone, those monks still have greed and greed. like all other mortals. Those who want to get rid of greed, hatred,If you are ignorant, you should not keep money, because if you keep money, you can never separate from greed, hatred, and delusion, which is a certain certainty in Buddhism. It is useless to keep money and practice Buddhism. Even if you practice for thousands of kalpas, it is difficult to find liberation. The greed for money here, you don't think is the greed of stealing, but the greed here means the love of money, the love of money, the love of fame, the love of profit, the word ham is favorite. Love money, love fame, love interests... The mind also likes money, fame, profit... is self-loving. So people often say no-self, but keeping money is still feeding the self, also serving the self, being a servant to the self, not selfless. The precept not to store money is the virtue of separation from greed and self-destruction. If anyone keeps this precept, the greed will be destroyed and the other self will be annihilated. For the sake of liberation, we must strictly uphold the precept of not storing money. Only in Buddhism can there be this precept of detachment from greed to destroy the ego, and all other religions do not have this precept as mentioned above. In the past, from the rich to the king, to go to the poor place and only beg for food, no longer keeping a coin in his pocket, the Buddha had to worry about his ego. Finally, he resolved to lead a selfless life and witness the Way. If we don't follow his example but still have a coin in our pocket, it is not certain that we have destroyed the ego and released the mind. And if you practice like this, you will never master samsara and end samsara. The virtue of not storing money will help us to destroy the ego and release the mind easily. In our time only mendicant monks can perform these holy actions, but this number is also very rare. Not storing money, jewels, jade has many great benefits for our practice: 1- The mind is unharmed, serene and peaceful, not afraid of thieves, body and mind are not troubled. build tall and beautiful pagodas. In contrast, because of the Mahayana houses, because they keep money, their mind is not unharmed, serene and peaceful, so they often have many jobs such as: building big pagodas and big Buddhas, creating beautiful landscapes, to seduce tourists. visitors, making the religious place no longer pure but becoming a business tourist area to get rich. 2- Having money in mind is easy to be born, especially the five sensual pleasures: form, fame, profit, real, lobe. These five things the mind is prone to temptation and fall. The proof that we have seen with our own eyes, there is not a single person who does not fall into the above five things. 3- Having money is dictated by money, buying this, that. Eg:eating and drinking must be delicious, high in taste; housing must be luxurious and beautiful; bed must be large, soft blanket, warm mattress; to move, vehicles of all kinds; Indoor decoration is full of furniture: television, refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioner, etc. 4- The robe is no longer three robes and a bowl, but a chest and a cabinet. The clothes are no longer made of chalk, but are all made of beautiful, high-gloss imported fabrics, etc. People are slaves to money without knowing it, money makes them like slaves, like servants in the house, even worse like cows, buffaloes, horses, etc. was yoked, the car rested on his shoulder, on his neck. When driven by money, the mind develops. When the mind develops, suffering piles up. People who don't keep money will not be able to do anything even if they want to. For example: a poor person has no money, so even if they want a tall house, large and beautiful house, lots of land, vehicles, etc. They can't even buy it, but they still hope to have it, so the desire is still endless. In contrast, Buddhist monks because they want to get out of samsara, so they voluntarily don't save money, so that when lust arises they want something, they can be strong enough to stop and destroy that desire. If you keep money, it's very difficult to subdue lust. Why so? Because our mind is very clever and cunning, deceiving ourselves, it runs after lust and says, "I do Buddha work, for sentient beings, for Buddhism." Because of such reasoning, we should take money. building large pagodas and big Buddhas to satisfy the mind and pursue worldly fame, not to subdue people to follow Buddhism, to make Buddhism flourish. But with the theory of doing Buddha's work, saving sentient beings to cover up its fame and profit, and it also reasoned that:"What have I done for myself that calls me chasing after fame and gain?". Because of this reasoning, the scholar monks are all broken precepts, breaking the precepts to keep money; Because of this reasoning, the monks, scholars, and practitioners never have a mind to separate from the evil dharma and forever practice without mastering birth, old age, sickness, and death. What a waste of a life of unwise practice, having been deceived by his own mind, running after sex without knowing it, running after fame and gain without realizing it. It's so pitiful. The precepts that the Holy Sangha do not keep money have determined for you, the Venerable Master, that they have lost their own holy conduct, making them no longer worthy to be a disciple of the Buddha, they have turned themselves into people who destroy Buddhism without knowing (The precepts are still Buddhism, the precepts are lost is Buddhism), they have turned themselves into Ma Ba Tuan in Buddhism without realizing it. It's so pitiful!Ladies and Gentlemen! The purpose of giving up life as a monk is to find liberation from the home of samsara and also to become saints and nuns who are worthy disciples of the Buddha. Why do you keep money to violate the precepts of the Holy Spirit like that, dishonor Buddhism like that, are you ashamed or not? Do you feel sorry for yourself? Do not keep money, so call that person to live a holy life of seclusion. Living the holy life of celibacy is living the holy life of a Saint Sangha, a Saint Ni. By living a holy life without saving money, it causes the body and mind to separate from the lust of the worldly smell. Not storing money is a way to help your body and mind not fulfill your desires, because you don't have money, you can't follow your desires. It is also a wonderful separation from evil. Those who are determined to seek liberation, not keeping money is very effective for liberation. Because we all know that the precept forbids not to keep money is to make it easy for us to separate from evil lusts. With money, lust is easy to arise and it is very difficult to overcome it, because having money it requires buying all kinds of things. . We see monks, teachers because they keep money but break this precept, so their life is like that of rich people. And in the end, these monks and nuns practice not to be liberated, but also to be enslaved to money, material things, fame, and worldly advantages. We stand on these ten precepts of the Holy Samaritan, please just note that it is clear that Mahayana monks, although there are 10 precepts of novices, but the HT, TT, DD, Sangha, Nuns are not sure if they have fully kept, or in other words, even one or two of the 10 precepts are not sure they have kept.Seeing their way of life breaking the precepts, breaking the precepts, breaking the precepts makes us really sad for Buddhism today. Aren't you!? According to the scriptures, the Mahayana development has turned Buddhism into a superstitious profession, to easily deceive others. The precept forbidding monks is still there: “A monk should not keep money”, yet they have billions of billions of silver in the bank. It is really enough to say, in this world, there is no one richer than the monks according to the development scriptures. Buddhism teaches: "discharge riches and ask for poverty". And now, the development teachers teach: "discharge poverty and seek wealth" to suit the times. Looking at these 10 forbidden precepts, we observe that today's monks no longer have the purpose of cultivating liberation, only cultivating a name means studying with a high degree, cultivating income means having a lot of money and having a large number of Buddhists. A monk who keeps money is not the right Buddhist monk. This holy precept of detachment is clearly defined. If a monk still violates these 10 precepts, of course the path to liberation is no longer there. In short, if you want to practice to be liberated from the three poisons of greed, hatred, and delusion, you must strictly observe the precepts, but the precept not to keep money is the most important precept in the practice of separating from sensual pleasures and from evil. If you keep and practice like this, you will one day be the master of birth, old age, sickness, and death. Although the Buddha's precepts are difficult to keep, but for those who have great will and determination, it is difficult and easy to achieve, they will also overcome and make a great cause of Buddhism. The holy precepts of separation from greed are very necessary for those who earnestly seek the way out of suffering, if one keeps it strictly, he will break away from greed and cut off evil, the path to the end will be completed perfectly.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.29/1/2022.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
